Development of the corporate identity for the Guadiana Eurocity bid—comprising Ayamonte, Castro Marim, and Vila Real de Santo António—to become the European Community of Sport 2026.
The project is based on a strategic analysis aimed at defining the key values and attributes to be communicated: cross-border cooperation, dynamism, territorial cohesion, and international reach. Drawing on this study, a visual system is developed to represent the union between territories, as well as the active and sporting nature of the bid.
The logo design is conceived as a dynamic element that reflects the active, sporting character of the bid. Through a composition conveying movement and a contemporary visual language, the aim is to project energy, activity, and a connection between territories.
The color scheme is based on a palette representing the three municipalities that make up the Eurocity, thereby reinforcing the concept of unity and shared identity. These colors are drawn and reinterpreted from the existing logo of the Eurocity of the Guadiana – Museum Territory, ensuring visual coherence and continuity within the identity system.
The result is a versatile and recognizable graphic mark, capable of functioning across various applications and media while maintaining a solid image aligned with the project's values.
